Return Policy

We're dedicated to your complete satisfaction and appreciate your business. However, we'll accept returns of un-used merchandise within 30 days from the ship date on the receipt (not the date you received the item). All returns must be made with the original tags still attached and any extra components (i.e. extra straps, key fobs, protective cover, etc) must also be returned. Product must be returned in original packaging.

Note: There will be no returns or refunds given on items marked clearance/final sale. Clearance items are clearly marked in product descriptions and will be noted on all receipts. Also note that we cannot accept returns without a TraceDetails.com sales receipt, so, if you need a duplicate copy, please let us know and we will send one via email or fax.

For a copy of your sales receipt send an email that includes your name, phone number, and email address used when the purchase was made to customer_ service@tracedetails.com.Please do not attempt to return items without a sales receipt.

How to return

1. Place the merchandise in a box with the completed return form found on the back of your sales receipt.

2. Write your order number (found on the top of the sales receipt) on the top of the outer carton, near the shipping label.

3. Send to us via insured mail to address on receipt

4. All merchandise will be refunded for the price paid, in the same form as the original payment. Please allow at least 1 billing cycle from the day you return your package for your account to be credited.

5. Keep a copy of the tracking number you receive in case the shipment is lost in transit. Unfortunately, Trace Details cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during the return shipping process. Again, when returning items, always insure the package for your own protection.

6. If the item you are returning was shipped to you in error, please send an email to customer_service@tracedetails.com and we'll explain how we will accommodate you for the cost of the return.

Except in the instance where we have made an error, shipping fees are non-refundable.

Damaged Merchandise

In the rare and unlikely event that you receive an item that was damaged in transit or is missing a key component noted in the item description (i.e. protective cover, extra straps, etc.), you may be entitled to a replacement, at no additional charge, provided the following two conditions are met:
  • You notify us via email or fax, of the defect or missing component within 48 hours of receiving the package.
  • You promptly return the item in accordance with our instructions.

    If you do not want us to replace the item, and simply want a refund, you must still notify us of the damage or missing component within 48 hours of receiving the package. Otherwise, the item will be considered damaged by you, and not subject to a refund.

    Failure to observe our return policy may result in the return of the item to you, without a refund. If you have any question please contact us.
